The Lollipop Ladies Challenge #6

 

I love to eat strawberries and cream! So when I saw The Lollipop Ladies challenge this week I thought I would try to enter something in to their gallery. To see the challenge details or to submit your creation click here

This was the challenge picture inspiration

What can you think other than yummo, when you see this bowl of delicious strawberries with a generous dub of yummy fluffy white cream. My palate is watering!!

Apart from this challenge being to tasty to resist I’ve been wanting to try a gorgeous card tutorial from the very talented Valita Renyolds based around the strawberry. So a great excuse to get down and dirty!

The tutorial has some very helpful tips! The best being how to use Stampin’ Up! Boho Blossom punch to give the strawberry a 3D effect.

So without further a due here is my creation inspired by the creative Valita Renyolds and a yummy bowl of strawberries and cream.

 

I think this would be a great card to give mum on mother’s day with a bowl of strawberries and cream….

This one yummy treat i would love get, with a cute card!!

Challenge #3

Ok so i used lollipop flowers and my card base was acetate. I used bright colours and a ‘delight’ sentiment because i think lollipops are bright and they bring those eating them delight. Hope you like my simple card 🙂

  

The Lollipop Ladies Challenge #3

Another fortnight has passed and some sugary goodness is to be shared again …. the challenge up this fortnight will certainly test your imagination!

Now, not many of us will have come through life without trying one of these treats on a stick:

How good do they look? There are so many types of lollipops around and we all have a fave ….. but one thing they all have in common is a wrapper – so this fortnights extra challenge is to use some cellophane or acetate on your creation.

I can’t believe I got this challenge done. I really tried to look out side the square but the yummy cupcake was just to irresistible!! So I stayed with the theme and colours. Thanks to the Lollipop Ladies for such a great challenge. You can see  the challenges and other projects by clicking here

The Lollipop ladies challenge #2

Like always my cousin points me in the direction of cool fun things to do. A week or so ago she got me on to The Lollipop Ladies. Each fortnight they post an object to inspire you to create. I missed the first weeks challenge as things were a little bit hectic in my life. It was an Ice Cream Sunday, can’t believe i missed creating something around one of the yummiest treats going!! The other girls didn’t miss the inspiration and created some very nice projects!

Challenge # 2 :: Cupcake with ruffles

Good morning Crafters… today we have another gorgeously sweet treat for you …
Your challenge this fortnight is to use this delicious cupcake as your inspiration to CREATE!! remember that anything goes!! Isn’t that icing simply mouth watering??

What would a sweet treat such as a cupcake be without a cherry on top OR some ruffles like this gorgeous one.. so our bonus challenge (should you choose to accept) is to add some ruffles.
